Miss Mary from St. Mary's is handing out helmets to all third graders. They have just completed a 6 week program called Think First! It is a wonderful program that teaches them about water safety, bike safety, and gun safety.

Freeland Schools received a $48,074 grant through the 2018 Competitive School Safety Grant Program. Allocated for improving the security of our buildings, this grant was awarded by the State of Michigan and is administered by the Michigan State Police.

Freeland Schools will not be in session on Mon., Nov. 5 or Tues., Nov. 6 due to the Michigan Google Conference being held at FHS/FMS. We look forward to welcoming this large conference to Freeland and showcasing our school for the State.
With 3rd Street from Powley Drive to Church Street nearing completion, please be aware that twice a day, as the buses leave from FES to go to the Learning Center, the buses will be stopping traffic to unload/load children. It may be best to avoid 3rd Street at those times.
Please be aware that we are expecting the Saginaw County Road Commission to install a 3-way stop at the corner of Powley Drive and 7th Street in the very near future.
Saginaw County CTE millage language is on the bottom of page two of the 11/6 ballot. The language asks voters to decide whether or not to approve 1 mill to support Career and Technical Education course participation for Saginaw County students.
