Our Fifth Graders released 117 Chinook Salmon today at the Tittabawasse River! Mrs. Henning’s science classes raised the salmon from eggs to a young salmon smolt stage in their classroom tank. The students learned about caring for the salmon, how the salmon came to live in the Great Lakes, balancing conservation of our natural ecosystems, as well as Michigan river systems.
