The Michigan Council of Women in Technology Foundation is sponsoring one-week technology camps for girls across the State of Michigan that introduce them to computer technologies through hands-on activities in a are fun and engaging way. Each session will engage students in age-appropriate topics ranging from game design, website design and robotics programming. Freeland Elementary students took their learning into the real world by joining in on the Walleye Festival garage sales on Thursday. Not only did they bake their own goodies, they also designed and made their aprons and menus using Canva!

The Graduate Profile will guide District planning and action steps that will be targeted to support our collective vision for our graduates.
The Graduate Profile is a collective vision outlining the community's aspirations for all FCSD students. This document will include academic, technical, personal, and social skills that all students should possess upon graduation.

The Freeland Fabricators excelled at the World Championship in Houston, Texas:
* Established a 7-3 win/loss ratio and ranked #16 out of 77 teams in their Division
* 4th pick in the team selection
* Made it to the Division semi-finals
* Won the Engineering Inspiration award , earning NASA sponsorship for Worlds next year
It was a great end to a fantastic season by Freeland's robotics team.
