
Freeland Varsity Competitive Cheer placed 1st at the Breckenridge Invitational over the weekend.

The Freeland Band rocked the MSBOA District Solo & Ensemble Festival this weekend. State Qualifiers (1st Division) included soloists: Annaleese Armstrong, Avery Foerster, Abagail Johnson, Lily Nitz, Kellen Williamson, AJ Betsch, Connor Groff-Fhaner, Alexis Henderson, Maddie Arney, Katie Papst, Christy Cole, Eli Hescott, Cam McLeod, Kayla Staley, Devon Williamson (x2), and ensembles Brendan Stachowiak & Logan Kipfmiller, Mallory & Marissa Slavin, Erin Collier, Alexis Henderson, Katlynn Sturis, & Carlie Mieske, Maddie Arney & Katie Papst, and Adam McNier & Katie Papst.

Friday, February 4 @ 7pm - FNV GRIFFINS will host Mental Health Awareness Night vs. Davison @ the Saginaw Bay Ice Arena, bringing awareness to suicide prevention and encouraging those in need to reach out for help. Proceeds donated to the Suicide Resource and Response Network.

Congratulations to Freeland Literacy Art Club contributor Emily Nietling. Emily was recognized with the award for Outstanding Art for her piece, Depth of Adventure, from the ASPA Annual Yearbook, Magazine, and Newspaper Contest.


The Freeland Literacy Art Club received the 1st Place Award, from the American Scholastic Press Annual Yearbook, Magazine, and Newspaper Contest, for their 2021 issue of Painting with Ink. Congratulations!
