Freeland Community School District

This week the Special Services Department is highlighting Kim Armstrong. Ms. Armstrong has been a paraprofessional at Freeland Elementary School for the past two years.  This year, she works with students in 2^nd, 5^th, and 6^th grades.  Ms. Armstrong feels that the most rewarding thing about her job is seeing kids light up when they accomplish a task in class.  She enjoys the team approach where everyone counts on each other and works to help the students.  Ms. Armstrong said, “It is fun to come to work because work doesn’t feel like work.”  She looks forward to many more years working with students in Freeland.
