This week, the Freeland Community School District is highlighting our Director of Buildings & Grounds, Mr. Mike Cassells.  Mike joined the Freeland Community School District last May after having served as a Production Technical Lead at Linde (Hemlock) for 10 years.  In less than a year, Mike has already made a significant impact, demonstrating exceptional dedication to maintaining safe, functional, and welcoming spaces for our students, staff, and community.  This multifaceted role involves overseeing facility maintenance, managing custodial teams, coordinating repairs, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.  With dependable leadership and a hands-on approach, he has quickly earned the trust and respect of his team and colleagues alike, always making sure that every task or proposed idea is attended to with care and precision.  Mike’s proactive approach and commitment to excellence ensure that every building reflects the pride we take in our schools.
