Freeland Community School District

This week, we are highlighting Freeland Middle/High School staff member, Mindi Hannon. Mindi currently teaches 7th grade World History and High School Spanish 1. She has been working in Freeland for the last 16 years. Mrs. Hannon is an active leader for all things technology in our building, and also serves as our Travel Club advisor. The most rewarding part of her job is helping students open doors into the world. Whether it is history, language or Travel Club, she loves to support students in their learning about what is going on in the world. Mrs. Hannon said she loves seeing students make connections from history to current events, or experiencing new ways of seeing the world in Spanish. She enjoys working in the community, and loves traveling with students and families all over the world through her work with Travel Club.
