This week, Freeland Learning Center is highlighting one of our kindergarten teachers, Miss Madison O’Leary. Miss O’Leary is in her second year of teaching kindergarten students here in Freeland. Miss O’Leary is a devoted teacher who is always thinking outside the box to support all of her students’ academic and social emotional needs.
When asked what she finds most rewarding about her position, Miss O’Leary said, “watching students grow as individuals.” She also spoke about how much she enjoys working for the Freeland Community School District because she is surrounded by individuals who make each other better each and every day.
One of Miss O’Leary favorite memories so far, while working at Freeland Community School District, was when her past students visited her during this school year’s Open House. It was one of her favorite memories because she loves knowing what exciting things her former students have been up to, and talking about past memories they have enjoyed while they were in her class.
When Miss O’Leary is not working, she enjoys traveling with friends and family, running races, hiking, and fishing. She loves being outdoors whenever she can!
Thank you Miss O’Leary for your dedication to the students and families of the Freeland Learning Center and for all you do for the Freeland Community School District.
