
8th grade students kicking off their Place Based Education unit in Mr. Schwedler’s class. Today, they had an introduction to the unit facilitated by Mr. Lind with the Saginaw Bay Land Conservancy.


FMS students, Audrey Mueller and Jaiden Rawlings were awarded the Travel Club Scholarships for this year's Washington DC trip. Congratulations to both!

Students in the middle school fishing club had a great day of fishing yesterday with their club advisor, Mr. Duley.



Today at FMS was “Meme Day”, and although many of the adults in the building weren’t exactly sure what this meant, the students and a few staff (shout out to Mrs. Hannon!) did an amazing job showing their pride in meme form!

Freeland Middle School staff enjoyed a staff breakfast this morning put on by our middle school student council. Thank you students and Aaron’s Flowers for the donated flowers. Our teachers loved it!

FMS Students had a great trip to NYC over the long weekend!

Students who will be in grades 7 & 8 next school year: The Freeland Robotic Club will be holding try-outs in May for the middle school robotics team for next fall. Informational meeting on April 29th in the FES Gym Balcony at 6:00 p.m. There will be an off season event that the team will participate in at Vassar Schools on May 11th as part of the try-out process.
