Yesterday our FMS Lunch 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament finished after 3 full weeks of competition. Congrats to this team who was the last group standing after our elimination round! A big thank you to Mrs. Gotts for organizing the event!

We would like to recognize our FMS March Students of the Month. The staff is choosing 4 8th graders and 4 7th graders each month that display the S.O.A.R. expectations in our building. Each Student of the Month will receive 5 S.O.A.R. tickets for upcoming drawings, a personal pizza from Hungry Howie's, and an invite to our end of the year Student of the Month Dinner in May. Congratulations to our 8th Grade Falcons!

Students in Mr. Schwedler's U.S. History 8 class showcased their PBL activities in each hour on Wednesday. Students picked topics on the Civil War and the issue of states' rights. It was great to see their finished presentations!

Congratulations to Ms. Heckman who was a recipient of a $500 mini-educator grant through Frankenmuth Credit Union. The grant will be used to purchase materials for a new science unit on light and sound.
