FMS wishes our Pom team good luck at States today. Our building was able to celebrate with most of them during a clap-out on Friday at the end of the school day. Our 7th & 8th graders are shown in this pic but we are sending good wishes to our 6th graders as well!

Another Wednesday Trivia, another group of repeat Champions! Our trivia yesterday was all about the month of January and these students were on top of the leaderboard and earned some SOAR slips and a shout out on social media for their efforts!

Our second round of FMS Parent-Teacher Conferences is tomorrow, Wednesday, January 31 from 4:30-7:00 pm. You received information regarding this process in our February Newsletter that came out this past Friday. We look forward to seeing you tomorrow!

FMS had a fun afternoon celebrating our 1st Semester Successes. Students received certificates for Honor Roll, Merit Roll, and Growth on the NWEA. We had drawings for students with no tardies/no discipline as well as our large SOAR slip drawing. We have great students at FMS!

We took a few weeks off but are back to our Brain Teaser Mondays at FMS Lunch. We have some new champions today who were the first to get all 9 out of 9 brain teasers correct!

Our 8th Grade Woods Class took a load off after exams sitting in the hallway on their custom made footstools. These 8th graders learned basic furniture making principles to construct and upholster their own footstool. Thanks to Mr. Byrne for planning such a fun project for our FMS students!

Each Student of the Month will receive 5 S.O.A.R. tickets for upcoming drawings, 2 Free Saginaw Spirit Tickets courtesy of Century 21 Signature Realty - Andrew Hauck , and an invite to our end of the year Student of the Month Dinner in May.
