Students in Mr. Schwedler's U.S. History 8 class showcased their PBL activities in each hour on Wednesday. Students picked topics on the Civil War and the issue of states' rights. It was great to see their finished presentations!

Congratulations to Ms. Heckman who was a recipient of a $500 mini-educator grant through Frankenmuth Credit Union. The grant will be used to purchase materials for a new science unit on light and sound.

Yesterday our FMS Leadership Students had the opportunity to attend the Middle Level State Tour through @MASSP at the Bavarian Inn in Frankenmuth. They were able to share some of the great things we do here at FMS and get new ideas for future years. Thanks to Mrs. Freel and Ms. Ruffertshofer for chaperoning this event!

This week at FMS we are Spreading the Word to End the 'R' Word and promoting inclusion. The official Spread the Word day is Wednesday, March 6, 2024 and, starting today, students were able to pledge to be kind and inclusive to everyone. Our students have planned more activities throughout the week to bring awareness and celebrate our differences.
