
FHS Student Council members assisted with Toys for Tots today. Thank you for all of your hard work to help Saginaw County families in need!





This week, FHS would like to recognize one of our teachers, Nickie Clark. Mrs. Clark has taught for 26 years, and loves working with kids and making learning fun. She enjoys working in a community that is dedicated to our students, and also feels she has been blessed to work with many great teachers during her career.


FHS JA Titan teams from Mrs. Chisek's class competed at SVSU on Dec. 14. The final round team was sponsored by Accenture and coached by Brandon Toyzan. Our first place consolation team was sponsored by Dow Corning and coached by Rob Kain of Hemlock Semi Conductor. Thank you coaches and sponsors!





FHS students in Mrs. Neal's Honors Physics class participated in an Egg Drop Lab to see if their eggs could remain unbroken falling from the mezzanine in our gym.

This week, our FHS choir and band students performed wonderful Christmas concerts! Our choir performed at the Temple Theater with the Saginaw Bay Symphony Orchestra, and our band played in our Performing Arts Center. Great job to all of our musicians!


Thank you to Fed Ex for hosting the FHS STEM class on their recent field trip. A special thanks to alumnus, Nic Sulfridge, for helping our students learn about packaging and shipping to support our learning.




The FHS and FMS students enjoyed a special SOAR assembly last Friday afternoon. The band Attaboy played and shared a positive message with our students, and we had a dance competition for students vs. staff.

Our FHS members of Great Lakes Bay Regional Youth Leadership Institute, Noah Essex, Kylie North, and Vinnie Kowalski, raised funds to help purchase wish list items for their donation drive at SVSU. Thank you for your support!


The FHS Choir performed a wonderful Christmas Concert last night. Thank you for getting everyone into the holiday spirit!

The FHS Be The Change Team visited the Learning Center today as a part of their Nonviolence Week focus, helping students learn how to be kind to one another. They were busy with our youngest Falcons today!





Due to the weather, the robotics sign-up meeting planned for tonight has been moved to Tuesday, November 27, from 7:00 - 8:00 in the Bot Cave/Balcony of the Freeland Elementary School gym.

No athletic practices today (11/26/18) due to the winter storm warning.

Freeland Football was well represented on the Saginaw News Dream Team: Jack Townsend & Jayce Bourcier were on the Team, with John Guerra, Carston Yaw, Layne Moergeli, Vinnie Kowalski, & Trey Morgan being named Honorable Mention.

FHS students in Mrs. Schriber's Life Skills Class were learning how to make pumpkin dessert today.
