Freeland area Girl Scouts supported Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child to provide almost 200 shoe box packages. Freeland troops came together for the celebration of their efforts last night. Great job Freeland Girl Scouts!
The students in Mrs. Trainor's Class learned about Veteran's Day by reading and discussing America's White Table. Then they received all of the materials that they would need to set up a white table at home, so they could teach their family members and guests as well.
Today, Ms. Belanger’s 6th grade Social Studies class traveled (via Skype) to Vietnam, New Delhi, India, Pennsylvania, Washington, & Idaho. Students used geographic questions to figure out where the other class was located. They had a blast!
Congratulations to our SOARing Elementary students this week.
