Do you ever wonder what learning institutions mean when they claim they are a 21st Century learning environment? At Freeland Middle School, one great example of this is our new 8th grade Computer Science class. This class, taught by Ms. Heckman, takes students through a semester long course in which they learn how to write code. In the class, students write code for a website, learn about the law and copyright with coding, and recently, they created a game using coding language.
