FCSD is pleased to highlight Mr. Ciaran Byrne, who teaches in our high school Engineering and Woodworking courses. Ciaran has been with our district for 6 years, and has been teaching for 18 years. When asked what he enjoys most about his position he said, “Freeland is an amazing community and our students feel supported. Our teaching staff is great. I really enjoy working with our students. We have students that are motivated and find success because they are willing to work for it.” As both teacher and coach, he has had many positive experiences at FHS and lots of special memories have been made so it was hard to pick one favorite memory. When not working, he likes to spend time with his wife and children doing various activities as a family. We are so grateful to Mr. Byrne for the work he is doing here, and look forward to continued success as his students interact with him every day.
