After completing a novel study on "A Long Walk to Water" by Linda Sue Parks, Mrs. Dake’s 5th grade reading classes had the privilege of having Mr. Rieek Nyoach come and speak to them. He spoke to the group about being raised in Southern Sudan and his journey to be here in the United States today. Mr. Nyoach spent a great deal of time answering the kids' questions and explaining his journey. It was a great experience for the 5th grade classes!
